At Club Mareva Beirut, we believe that certain moments deserve to be marked, not rushed. Our recent Ardnahoe tasting was one of those moments, as it marked the official launch of the Ardnahoe Lebanon Edition, a whisky created exclusively for the Lebanese market.
This release is limited to only 170 bottles, sold exclusively in Lebanon, making it one of the most restricted Ardnahoe expressions to date. Matured in a PX Quarter Cask, the Lebanon Edition delivers a deeper and more concentrated profile, shaped by the influence of Pedro Ximénez seasoned wood layered over Ardnahoe’s distinctive Islay character.
The tasting featured a full Ardnahoe lineup, allowing guests to explore the distillery’s style before arriving at the Lebanon Edition itself. Experiencing the whiskies side by side highlighted the distillery’s commitment to traditional methods, patience, and clarity of character, values that strongly align with the philosophy of Club Mareva Beirut.
What made the evening particularly meaningful was not only the whisky in the glass, but the significance of a release made specifically for Lebanon. A bottling reserved solely for the local market reflects confidence in the Lebanese whisky community and its growing maturity.
The Ardnahoe Lebanon Edition was made available for purchase during the event, offering guests the rare opportunity to secure a bottle at the moment of its official unveiling. Moments like these define what we aim to create at Club Mareva Beirut, access to meaningful releases, presented with intention, in the right setting.
We thank everyone who joined us for this special evening and contributed to making the launch of the Ardnahoe Lebanon Edition a true milestone for the Lebanese whisky scene.
For those who were unable to attend the event, a very limited number of Ardnahoe Lebanon Edition bottles are still available. The bottle is priced at $134, and delivery is available within Lebanon. Once the remaining bottles are gone, this release will not be repeated.
